Moving safely during COVID-19

We understand the importance of working safely to support the well-being of our workers and your household during the COVID-19 pandemic.  As such, we have put in place a new set of procedures which follows UK Government and BAR industry guidelines.

Before your move day, we will ask you to complete a Covid-19 risk assessment form which will help us set up a safe framework for your forthcoming move.

We will liaise with you and provide some instructions and guidelines on how best to prepare your household for your move.  We will share the health and safety measures that our staff will follow during the whole moving process as well.

On your move day, our crew will use hand washing and sanitiser as well as social distancing as the main behaviours to mitigate risks.  They will have access to face masks and nitrile gloves when/if required, but note that they are not a requirement of the Government “Working in the home” guidance.

Your move manager will be in touch throughout the whole process so if at any time you have concerns over the health and safety of your household please contact us and we will address your concerns.
