When moving with Robinsons, you get a personal Move Manager. Professional, friendly and fully trained, your Move Manager knows what stage your move is at, at any given moment.

Prior to your move date, your Move Manager will be in touch regularly and any problems will be resolved as quickly as possible.

During the move, your Move Manager will co-ordinate your information with a sophisticated tracking system. The system records every detail of your move, including each discussion that has taken place. Nothing is left to chance.


The key to every move is the packing, how your furniture and effects handled, how they are loaded and how they are transported. That’s all before the goods are unloaded to your new home!

Should you choose for us to pack, your goods will be packed with care using only the highest quality materials and professional techniques. There is a method to the packing of each item, whether it is china or crystal glasses, books or vinyl records. Our removals crew are fully trained to deliver a fast, efficient but above all safe packing service.




There are a number of your items that may need a little extra care for their removals journey.

We will typically advise that the following items may need extra wrapping and carding. These items typically include:

  • Paintings
  • Sofas
  • Highly polished furniture

Key to protecting your move is how your goods are handled by the crew, how they negotiate the obstacles to move the goods out of your home. It is also very important that your goods are loaded to the removals vehicle in a trained methodical manner, utilising soft moving blankets, moving pads and card protectors to make sure no damage occurs in transit. All of our removals crew are fully trained employees, most have been with us for many years and all are fully conversant in the Robinsons way.

Late key waiver

No matter how carefully you plan your moving day, some elements are beyond everybody’s control.  Robinsons will be prepped, but others (e.g. legal, financial and property organisations) may not share the same levels of organisation.

For instance, key collection can be delayed due to technical failures. Our Late Key Waiver covers you for up to a three hour time delay, avoids stress and cuts unexpected costs.

Cancellation waiver

Further changes can occur last minute. A postponed or cancelled move may seem like the worst case scenario. With our Cancellation Waiver, it doesn’t have to be. Regardless of circumstances, if the move date is changed or cancelled, you will not incur additional costs.
