Moving In Europe

Our service starts with a pre-move consultation and a full survey of your property. Our European Moving Consultant will visit your home to discuss all your international removal requirements. This helps to plan your individual itinerary and set a moving date, as well as providing an opportunity for you to ask as many questions as you like.

How soon should I arrange for a quotation?

It is never too early to contact a removal company when you are planning a European move. We recommend you begin your search at least 12 weeks prior to your move, however some people start their search as soon as 12 months before. It is most important not to leave it until the last minute, which could result in hasty decisions.

How do you calculate the cost of my removal?

The cost of your removal is based on the volume of goods you would like to take. To accurately assess the volume a full survey of your property is carried out by one of our European Moving consultants. This is also an opportunity to discuss your individual requirements, and we can answer any questions you may have.

Will you do all of the packing and unpacking?

Packing is an important part of our service; your furniture and effects will be travelling a long way and you want to be sure that everything arrives in one piece. Robinsons will tailor its packing service around your own specific needs. However, we strongly recommend that you consider the option of a 'full export pack'. The overall cost is relatively small compared to the additional benefits - such as increased insurance cover and greater physical protection for your furniture.
